Classic Recipes

All cakes contain eggs, milk products and gluten unless otherwise stated. Furthermore, these cakes are made in a kitchen where many allergens are handled therefore we cannot guarantee that our cakes will not contain traces of these or any other allergens handled in the kitchen.

 

Vegan/Free from Gluten Recipes

In the case of our vegan/free from Gluten recipes, while every effort is made to ensure that cross-contamination does not occur, the cakes are not made using separate equipment or in an allergen-free environment. Therefore those with severe allergies should take extra caution. If in any doubt, do not consume our products. 

 

Allergens handled in the kitchen include but are not limited to; fish, nuts, celery, cereals containing gluten, crustaceans, milk, Eggs, lupin, molluscs, mustard, peanuts, sesame, soy beans, sulphur dioxide & sulphites.

Ordering can take place via dm on my instagram @cherry_and_black_bakery or via email cherryandblackbakery@gmail.com

 

When submitting your order please include the following info

Design

 

Colours and flavours can be selected by the customer upon ordering. However the final design of the product is at the discretion of Cherry & Black Bakery. While I am happy to take into consideration any inspiration that the customer has shared, I do not copy the work of other bakers and final design will be to my style. 

 

Due to the nature of the product exact colours / designs cannot be replicated and every product is custom made for the client. 


 

Payment

 

Full payment is to be taken on all cupcake purchases upon ordering. Without payment, unfortunately the order cannot be processed.

Large orders / events a deposit will be taken to confirm booking


 

Collection

 

Please state your preferred collection day upon ordering and I will do my best to accommodate depending on availability. I currently do not offer collections and Sundays and offer limited collections on Saturdays. 

 

If you cannot collect an order at the agreed time / date please let me know as far in advance as possible so I can do my best to accommodate you. Due to the nature of the goods, if an order is not collected/ insufficient notice is given for the time / date agreed your order may be offered out to other clients so that it does not go to waste.

All ingredients listed in the above section are correct and up to date with allergens highlighted in bold. Customers are requested to reference this prior to ordering. All cakes contain eggs, milk products and gluten unless otherwise stated in the vegan/free from gluten recipes. Furthermore, these cakes are made in a kitchen where many allergens are handled and therefore we cannot guarantee that our cakes will not contain traces of these allergens. Allergens handled in the kitchen include but are not limited to; fish, nuts, celery, cereals containing gluten, crustaceans, milk, Eggs, lupin, molluscs, mustard, peanuts, sesame, soy beans, sulphur dioxide & sulphites

Please note ALL decorated cakes contain food colouring from any of the following brands, JEM, Sugarflair, ColourSplash, Squire’s Kitchen, Fractal Colours.

Adjustments

 

It is at the discretion of Cherry & Black whether any adjustments to orders can be made once the order has been processed. 

 

Storage

 

Due to the perishable nature of these goods, it is recommended that they are not kept any longer than 2 days to be enjoyed in their best condition. 

 

To keep the products for longer they may be stored un the fridge. However, to prevent them drying out it is recommended that they are kept in an airtight container and brought back to room temperature before eating. 

 

Transport

 

When taking your cakes home it is recommended they are placed on a flat surface i.e. in the boot of a car and that you drive gently. Cherry and Black cannot take any responsibilty for goods damaged in transit.

 

Refunds / Replacement

 

It is with the discretion of Cherry & Black to offer refunds.
